I’m an Executive PA to the Chief Financial Officer and I am responsible for the insurance portfolio. This is to certify that VKN Financial Services Pty Limited, has been doing business with Freedom Park since the 29th April 2008. During this period of doing business with them, we have been treated with the highest level of professionalism. According to our records they have paid our claims within fourteen (14) days, if we have submitted all the documentation within the stipulated time. I have always found the claims technician and underwriter that I usually interact with, to be expertise in their field of work. The response time is very excellent in that there were times where i requested last minute cover (on a Friday afternoon), and they have managed to cover us by 16:30 end of business time. I have always been able to get guidance and information from VKN. VKN is a BEE compliant financial services company and with a good service record and a primary focus on the costumer.

VKN assists MrSETA management in obtaining the necessary documentations to complete claim forms and arranges assessor visits at our offices or any convenient location within 24 hours of the claim. VKN staff pay close attention to detail and check all claim forms on receipt and notify us if the claim forms are incomplete or if there is need for more documentation. Due to this MerSETA  has not experienced claims being rejected or delayed. d) VKN keeps a close watch on our insurance costs and constantly keeps MerSETA management aware of  the merSETA claims through emails and meetings. VKN points out areas of potential loss or concern or where action needs to be taken to contain the terms. VKN  has also structured various insurance packages that make the insurance cost depend on our claims. They have facilitated an arrangement that computer claims are settled directly with the providers and brand new replacement computers of the correct specification are delivered to our offices within days of the loss. e) The management and staff of VKN are always professional, courteous and willing to assist. They have gone the extra mile to assist MerSETA after hours. All telephonic arrangements are confirmed in writhing immediately. We hold VKN Financial Services in high regard. In our opinion they are amongst the best brokers in the industry which is a good achievement for a broker from the previously disadvantaged sector.
